Manhart Coaching

About Brian

Three decades of putting people in rooms where they can be themselves.

Brian Manhart has spent decades in experiential leadership — camps, retreats and RV experiences — building places where people arrive guarded and leave lighter. He now does the same work through speaking, writing and coaching.

He describes himself as a retreat centre and RV campground guy, a husband, a dad, an inspirational story-teller, a leadership educator, a speaker, a writer, and an advocate for every human soul. The people who have worked with him tend to use a shorter description: the Ultimate Encourager.

The conviction underneath all of it is simple, and he says it plainly — people deserve more joy, hope and courage. Not as a sentiment. As something a leader can actually build for the people in their care.

Brian and his wife Jennifer have four children: Joe, Claire, Luke and Eli. The family runs on one principle, which doubles as a fair summary of the coaching: Be Kind, Love Always, and Remain Encouraged.

What the work is built on

Three values, and they are not decoration.

Every talk, every session and every private hour comes back to these.

01

We Value Every Soul

Every person has inherent dignity and distinct gifts. We honor each person’s intrinsic worth by helping them uncover their abilities, encouraging their God-given uniqueness, and celebrating the rare individual they are — no achievements or conformity required. Everyone is significant and extraordinarily valuable, and we treat them that way.

02

We Create a Trusting Culture

People need security in order to live their authentic identity. With hospitable hearts and stable relationships, we create beautiful, secure environments that give everyone permission to be themselves. We commit to trustworthiness, so that leaders, kids and their families feel safe, free and welcomed.

03

We Lead Courageously

When you embrace your core identity — and maybe get a gentle nudge — you become the fearless leader who impacts the world. We set an example of boldness. We encourage others to take chances. We color outside the lines. We know who we are, and so we courageously pursue who we can become: leaders with relentless spirits who try new things, fight for what is right, and advocate for others.

The vision

A world where people choose courage

We envision a world where all leaders — parents, CEOs, VPs, pastors and priests, teachers and school administrators — feel secure, valued, and inspired. Where courage replaces doubt, collaboration replaces isolation, and bravery guides every decision.

We celebrate every young heart, so that they may bravely embrace their own authentic adventure.

The mission.

The Courageous Dad Project

Real dads helping each other raise great kids.

A private group for fathers who would rather do this on purpose than by accident. Choosing courage over fear, presence over distraction, and connection over control.

Brian and his wife Jennifer have four children — Joe, Claire, Luke and Eli. This group is where the parenting half of the work lives.

Courage is a decision, and it is usually a small one.

The talk you book. The conversation you finally schedule. The hour you give yourself every other week. Start with whichever is nearest.
